Five monks are arrested from Arkyong monastery in Golok Pema (Amdo, Tibet) in connection with the self-immolation of Tsering Gyal, a monk from that monastery, on November 11, 2013. First of arrested is Buddha Kyab, the master of discipline of Arkyong monastery. He is the brother of Tsering Gyal. Totaly innocents Tulku Tubwang and his brother Telo Kyab, as well as monks Ngawang and Gaden from the same monastery are also arrested. Monks remaining in this monastery are under tight controle of armed forces, and they have even difficulties to get the food, as nobody can come inside and they are arrested and hardly controled when they try to get outside of monastery to buy some food in the town. Golok Pema Dzong is living a real nightmare since November 11, when Tsering Gyal, 20 years old monk from Jonang Arkyong monastery set himself on fire for Tibetan freedom. After his self-immolation all internet and phone lines with Pema were cut and strong police forces put tight control over any movement inside or outside Pema. They proceeded to massive investigations and interrogations in police station that concerned anybody who could witness the self-immolation. As convinced to be involved in self-immolation of Tsering Gyal, 3 monks and 4 lay persons are arrested, and even their names could not be communicated outside due total blockade of Pema. Police is stationed around the house of Tsering Gyal's family and maintain gun checkpoints around Pema.
