The epic of Ling Gesar is still living in Tibet: many remains and belongings of Gesar's army are found and conserved till nowadays, as it's the case of remains and helmet of Danma.
Danma was a great general of Hor, but out of admiration for the dharma king Gesar, he became on of 30 outstanding heroes of the Ling. His remains are conserved in Kham, in Langthang Dolma Lhakhang.
