To characterise the ongoing apartheid in Tibet, here is an excellent source about discriminatory measures based on ethnical origins, by Sherab Woeser, editor-in-chief of Phayul.com, March 26, 2013 :
No access to journalists from international medias, satillites for reception of abroad radio and TV confiscated and replaced by kind of "livebox" that controls TV, phone and internet exchanges of Tibetan inhabitants.
Huge number of passports confiscated. Tibetans need special permits to travel inside Tibet, hundreds of Tibetans from Eastern Tibet were expelled from Lhasa, inhabitants of Lhasa's suburbs need permission to enter Lhasa.
