Golok Pema Dzong is living a real nightmare since November 11, when Tsering Gyal, 20 years old monk from Jonang Arkyong monastery set himself on fire for Tibetan freedom. After his self-immolation all internet and phone lines with Pema were cut and strong police forces put tight control over any movement inside or outside Pema. They proceeded to massive investigations and interrogations in police station that concerned anybody who could witness the self-immolation. As convinced to be involved in self-immolation of Tsering Gyal, 3 monks and 4 lay persons are arrested, and even their names could not be communicated outside due total blockade of Pema. Police is stationed around the house of Tsering Gyal's family and maintain gun checkpoints around Pema.
