I am so happy to share with you today this amazing film made in Tibet, by monks from Tongkyab monastery in Golok Gabde, on July 2012. Tonkyab monastery is one of the oldest places where Ling Gesar's celebration is organized every summer. All monks are learning Ling Gesar's dances and traditional singing and telling of Gesar's story. Ling Gesar is not only celebrated there as a protector, but is also practiced as a path to enlightenment. This spiritual practice can explain an extraordinary courage of Tongkayb's monks and their selfless devotion to the cause of Tibetan nation.
