Last week in Amdo Golok started the 14th Great Dharma Assembly of all main monasteries from Kham and Amdo, gathering of all different buddhists schools for a competition in philosophic thesis. On the 8th day of this gathering, on June 3, great geshe Larimpa of India and Tibet, Khamap Jampel Loshe from Sera Je Monastery, addressed the Assembly a teaching on Unity. He said that Khampa and Amdo are close today, and that starting from now on, they must work to inc the unity for the futur of Three Tibetan provinces.
The most important is to give very clear teachings to our students, he added. Monks have to wear their monk clothes not only on below, but also on the top; to keep their pure conduct not only on the daytime, but also in the night; to not accumulate money to build stupas and temples, but spend it for studies; not talk just for joke, but keep the pure speech.
