Today, people from all parts of Tibet gathered at Lhamo latso (Godesses's lake) on Nyampo Yurtse sacred mountain to make a smoke offering. Headed by the traditional King of Arkyong Boom, Chief Zamkyab, many popular leaders, tulkus and monks from Tongkayb monastery and lay people participated in this ritual, under tight controle of the police.
